Trout Fishing - High Country

G'day Fellas ,
What's your favourite spot for Trout fishing in the High Country regions of NSW - ACT - Victoria ????
Some favourites of mine are :-
Swampy Plains River
Caledonia River
King River
Snowy River
Eucambene River
Are there any other 'keen' Trout Fisher-persons in this group ?

Yeah I don't mind wetting a line every once in a while. 8) I'm only a n amateur though.

I can't wait for summer to return so I can do it again. Tried some of the rivers and creeks this summer gone and only seemed to find smaller ones in the systems. Has the bush fires that came through knocked the life out of the rivers or are the less considerate types keeping undersized fish ?

To me the rivers seemed a little healthier this year than the year before so I hope that the fish are on the rise again.

I don't really have a favourite spot besides the usuall, but this year wouldn't mind looking around the bobby's plains area as a bloke from Tumut once said that there is some good fishing to be had up there.

I love getting out fly fishing - unfortunately the opportunities are few and far apart.

I'll be in any trips that combine good fishing with a bit of good 4wding.
