Front prop shaft rebuild.

Where are you guys getting your drive shaft rebuilt? I was told that it wasn't possible!

Mine went about 3 months ago with only 140,000 kms on the clock, i imagine that it failed prematurely due to beach driving over the last couple of holidays?

I ended up using a new stock shaft i think it cost me about $700 *sigh*

It can be done.  Mine also failed, but I got a rebuilt item with greasable nipples.  A bit of yellow pages searching and you will find someone to do it.  It is worth it as if it fails at speed the consequences can be dire!

Check AULRO as there is a thread on there by a guy that actually rebuilt his himself and saved tons of money.
