Just addded wheel arch flares and side body mouldings.

Yeah I know it's not much but it's a start!  :D

Nice truck and congrats on the new purchase Adam. Were the trimings difficult to put on?
Cheers

I said i would post a new pic everytime I add something. Well I have been slack, but here is what I have done over the past couple of weeks.

2" lift  :  Tough Dog Shocks all round
              Dobinson 220lb Springs up front
Mike Hayes spacers for SLS at rear

Next came the ARB Bar and Warn XD 9000 Winch
This was fitted by Greg at Escape Off Road

Then after a slight mishap in some deep water, I installed a snorkel

Today I just added some Bling with an AMV front protection plate

and an AMV Diff Guard

Adam,

Which Tough Dog shocks did you get?

Do you know there open/closed lengths and are you happy with them so far?

I got the 41mm diameter tough dogs . There is only 1 type you can get for the Disco.

I am in Sydney this week, but when I get home i can give you the part#.

So far they are great, they make a huge difference to the ride. They are the same as what Tim Loveday has.

Sorry, that "guest" was me.

I could not find the Part# for the tough dogs, but there is only 1 type which suit the Disco anyway. They are made for a 2" lift and have almost identical measurments to the OME shockers.

New additions!!

OK, I've been a bit quite recently (actually the whole forum has been) so here is what I added on the weekend.

Takla Seat covers. They don't fit as well as the ones in the Jeep did but I still like them better than the Black Duck.

TX3200 UHF. Finally people will be able to hear me rather than the static that comes from the $50 handheld.

Lightforce 240XGT's. If someone is thinking of getting these when they have an ARB bar......DONT. It took a fair bit of hacking with the angle grinder to get them in, but I reckon they look OK once they are in.

Lilyput 7" touchscreen for the GPS. I already had this in the Jeep. The GPS runs off a laptop under the seat with everything hardwired with permanent 12v.
The hard part was to come up with a bracket which allowed the screen to be close enough to you to be able to touch the screen while driving but also it had to be mounted so it did not vibrate and could be packed away when not in use and for security.
Eventually it will have a cover which will go over it when it is in the folded up position.

Hi adam, I like the screen, thinking of doing something similar in my disco, but still debating where to put the screen !! Was thinking of putting it up on the roof console somewhere maybe, custom jobbie !!

What is that screen like in daylight ? bright daylight ?

Can you post a close up pic of that bracket you made and any more that might be helpful for me, as it might be a interesting spot to put it.

Matt.
