Simpson Desert crossing

I am doing a crossing of the Simpson Desert this year and am wondering if any one has done it and what was their fuel usage. My vehicle is a TD5 Discovery

Hi Yorky, things are fairly quiet here at the moment...  I'd suggest that you have a look at www.aulro.com as there will be many people there who would be able to give you a much quicker answer.  There are a number of members here who have done the crossing in TD5s, but they don't log on very often...
