Hello, thanks for welcoming me on this site ! It's a great and very usefull site. I've found answer to some of my questions (especially how to remove the sump to check the bolt on the oil pump)

I have a 99 TD5 D2 with 200 000 km on the odometer.

Thank u !

PS :I'm french and I assume that my english will sound weird to you guys, sorry for that !

Cheers

Arnaud

Hi Arnaud.  Welcome to the site.  The French is not an issue, and your English is pretty good too.

I'm curious, how did you find the Oil Pump Bolt thread?
Kind Regards, Will Church

Hello, I've found the thread using Google typing 'td5 sump  remove  oil bolt'.
You are the 2nd internet site returned by Google !

BTW, can you tell me how long it will take me to do the complete procedure to check if this f*****g  bolt is tight ?

Regards.

Arnaud.

I allowed a day to do the job, but I usually allow more time than I need.  The write-up covers most of the things that can go wrong, and any traps etc.  Let us know how you go by adding a reply in the Oil Pump Bolt Thread, please.
Kind Regards, Will Church
