Oil leaks

Got me first drip onto the driveway on the weekend after returning from a trip.

Does this mean it is truely a Land Rover ::)

I fixed the main one on the weekend, now for the rear transfer case seal ::)

I have developed another leak, somewhere arounf the exhaust side of the motor, the last leak was from the Turbo drain pipe :o this weekend will be spent trying to find this new one ::)

I have got the turbo drain pipe leak, will be interested to see where the other one is coming from, please keep us posted.

OK all are fixed now, turned out to be the rocker cover gasket at the rear, replaced the gasket AND shortened the collets that sit inside the rubber grommets that the bolts go through the bolt the cover down, over time the rubber compresses and you run out of thread, so they need a mm OR 2 of the collet to get more down pressure.

Turbo drain pipe leak was the top gasket, 10min in the oven and some silicon gasket the blue heat resistant stuff and it's all good, new pinion seal gasket on the transfer case and no more leaks ;D
