Engine management software
« on: September 24, 2008, 05:13:18 PM »
Having just returned form a trip to Cape York i had on on going issue with the vehicle which had caused me problems.  Having met  landrover machanic in Cairns  I was given a company which has sofetware which enables you not only to diaganose problems but also reset the computer.  from my enquiries   you can but modules which give you access to various ares of the system. For me I am purchasing the security and the engine module.

http://www.rovacom.com.au/  If you are going out back donot rely on any local garage or company. plug in your  laptop and diagnose your problems.

I'm curious to know what sort of $$$$ we are looking for Rovacom and how the licensing arrangements works?

Depends on how much of the software you want too buy, it is available for download on the web through Rovercom in England, maybe the Nanocom software would better suit your needs, as it is a litle less complicated and a lot cheaper.
