Sounds like a nice ride, I complement you on your choice of colour.
Are you going to come out for a drive one day ?
Regards
George.

Why thank you - I'm rather fond of the red and see you are too.

Yes, I'll be coming along for trips - when time permits :?

A suggestion for your toolbox if not already included: 2  14mm ring spanners to remove the front tailshaft when it goes.  I've carried them since having to wait several hours for the tow-truck.

Noted :)  - I do have a 14mm socket and ring spanner on board.
Sorry to hear of your misfortune :(
Was there a reason for it, or did it just go suddenly :?:

I don't think that you can get a socket on either the bolt head or the nut, and they're too tight for an open-ender.

The tailshaft - my wife had driven the '99 all week and had apparently told me of a noise.  I drove it about 40ks, stopping several times to investigate a worsening vibration.  Last time I took-off the shaft dropped onto the road at about 10kph, so no damage done but stranded.  I found the source of the vibration!  Couldn't drive it due to the bits still attached.  Vehicle had done 50k but travelled muddy or dusty roads daily.
