Hi from the UK
« on: January 03, 2007, 11:17:15 PM »
Hi,

I don't know if you remember me, the name is ela, i used to be a member but left for the uk about 2 1/2 years ago.  i still have the same disco, it has had a few ups and downs here - the downs mainly to do with a garage that damaged it and then took a year of me going back every month before they fixed it, and a bit of an accident which required the front end being replaced!  got a shiny new winch bar out of it but still no winch - not much call for them in the uk.

we are contemplating returning to oz, later this year if the job for geoff comes off, otherwise it may take a bit longer.

nice to see many of the same names on the forum - i remember the trips with great fondness as off road driving in the uk is just not of the same calibre as in australia.

regards

ela (lauren & jodie are now 10 going on 18 and proud mobile phone owners)

Hi,

we will probably end up in the  brisbane area,  as that is where the job is, otherwise we will look at adelaide, altho' we have lots of friends still in sydney, we don't want to live there again!

regards

ela

Ela! How could we ever forget you! The coolest Discomummy ever! It's good to hear that Geoff, Jodie, Lauren and of course yourself are still in the land of the living and having fun! Its sincerely a shame you're not Sydney bound, but you will love Brisbane. Some awsome 4WDing parks and areas up there.

I though you might recognise the hoon in this pic! Looks like she'd be a motorbike hoon also.  ;D
