Ok, here goes... My ex, my son and I were coming back from a couple of weeks away in SA etc, and had done the Black Spur. We were at the Cathedral Ranges National Park, having a bit of a look, when I saw an appealing track, with some mud etc... Anyway, I got bogged, hopelessly horribly bogged! I high-centred the front axle, and because I did not have, and still don't have, a way to actuate CDL from inside the vehicle, I could not back out either.

After a couple of hours of attempted self-extrication, I bit the bullet and rang my friendly tow DII, in the shape of Michael Andrews. He was kind enough to spend a couple of hours and turn up with a snatch strap to recover me. It was an embarrassing way to finally meet him...
