Where is the cdl shaft if I have one

Where is the cdl shaft on the t/case if I am lucky enough to have one.
Ours is a 12/01 model, is there any hope for me ?????
A pic of where it is or even a point in the right direction, as I can't find anything under there if it is there at all.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, as far as I know, your particular model was unfortuantely in the series where LR used their dubious collective "brain" and removed the CDL shaft altogether...

Others will either confirm or correct me, and may have alternatives for you also.
Kind Regards, Will Church

I would check it anyway some with your model have found a CDL in the TC so don't dispare.

go under the car and put your hand up beside the shaft on the TC you'll feel a triangle shape of nuts with a large one in the centre if it's in there thats what you'll feel as below shows where the AMV actuator fits

Hopefully you have one, but it will be close.  I have an Aug 2001 model and have the CDL nut

Hi All,
Just a quick question about the CDL, Does anyone have any pics of the nut in the locked and unlocked positions without the actuator on top of it?
I am having some issues with my AMV kit not tripping the magnetic switch so i have a feeling it may not be turning far enough

Thanks

Mick.
