It was suggested I put some details in the "New members" area of the forum. I was a bit surprised to find it appears I am the first to post here !
A quick summary of how I got here :
I work in Melbourne in IT support (SAP) and moved from Tassie in 1998. I owned an old Rangie (probably early 70's model) many years ago. My Dad owned a Disco Series I TDi in the early 90's, so that probably explains how I ended up with a Disco. I bought mine in Feb 2002 after writing off my previous vehicle (Alpha 90).
I purchased the disco mainly for long distance trips and camping, but soon got the bug for mud and rocks after going on a few LROCV trips.
Got to hear about this site through the yahoo d2au group.
Now I've figured out how to load photos, I'll put up some photos of my trips and vehicle.
